5+ years of hands on experience administering/monitoring high performance, high availability database clusters such as Oracle RAC, Oracle active-standby, Dataguard
Experience with large, high volume, mission critical environments including migration

Minimum of 4 to 5 years' DBA experience in Postgres

Exposure in application migration from UNIX (IBM AIX) to LINUX (UBUNTU/RHEL) is a must
Must be able to own up activities individually and contribute to the team
Must be able to manage working on an effort that involves collaboration across global teams
Must have strong technical, analytical, interpersonal communication and writing skills
Proficiency in C & C++ coding(C Required) (C++ Preferred)
Hands on experience in migrating C & C++ based application from UNIX (IBM AIX) to LINUX ( any linux flavor like UBUNTU/RHEL/DEBIAN/RTOS/CENTOS etc) is a must
Must have experience on Unix , Linux platforms, should possess shell scripting skills
Hands-on database administration (5 years experience)
Proven work experience as a Cloud DBA. (5 years experience)
Must be familiar and stay current with the industry best practices and trends related to data ingestion and database design/development/security.
Experience with complex data models, object-oriented data models and data automation; expert level knowledge with databases and tools within Microsoft and AWS stacks and data integrations
Must possess deep understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Mart, Semantic Layer, Data Lake etc.
Extensive knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: Python,SQL,Node.js
Responsible for whole Project technical implementations and Planning from a database aspect.
Contribute to the development and implementation of data processes for data ingestion, validation and transformation
Management of Metadata and repository usage
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Support / Configuration of S3 Data Lake environment
